Our Education Pillar

As a team of life-long learners, we know how important it is to bring conversations about accessibility and disability inclusion into the classroom. These early spaces for learning and reflection play a vital role in shaping the inclusive leaders and designers of the future.

Perhaps you’re a professor in a medical field and want to challenge your students to think beyond the medical model of disability? Maybe you’re a teacher and you have a disabled child in your class and want to support their peers to have a broader understanding of accessibility?

If you are interested in arranging a school or university visit, we’d love to hear from you.

Organising a visit

School and institution visits are conducted by the Tilting the Lens team, and the person assigned will depend on location and availability. We have a limited number of in-person education engagements available each year, but we will review every request and respond. If we are unable to visit in person, we will keep your details on file and share relevant resources and opportunities as they become available.
